Claremont Symposium on Applied Social Psychology: Psychological Contributions to Sustainability and Environmental Action

Over the past 25 years, the Claremont Symposium on Applied Social Psychology has examined a broad range of topics crucial to our understanding of human relationships and the building of a healthy, diverse society. The 2011 Claremont Symposium will continue this tradition as we consider applications of social psychology to environmental sustainability and environmental action.
This one-day conference, sponsored by Claremont Graduate
University, will be held in Claremont, California on Saturday, March 12, 2011. The conference will bring
together psychological scientists and professionals working in environmental
sustainability/action settings. For information about specific talks, please visit: http://www.cgu.edu/environmentalpsych. A continental breakfast will be available beginning at 8:00 AM, introductions and opening remarks will begin at 8:45 AM, and formal presentations will begin at 9:00 AM. You are invited to attend a wine-and-cheese reception at the end of the day.
